Plastic Injection Molding Machines Have Changed the Way We Make Objects
Today, plastic injection molding machines allow us to create just about any object that we can think of. Plastic injection molding machines force melted plastic into metal molds that are cast by plastic engineers. The melted plastic sits in the mold and is rapidly cooled to form a rigid, solid plastic object. Thanks to plastic injection molding machines, we can even use old plastics to make new plastic items. Recycled plastics can be blended with new plastics during the melting process. Then, the recycled and new plastic mix is forced into a metal mold by the plastic injection molding machine.
